Nigerian citizens must understand that the Nigerian Constitution outlaws the wearing of Military fatigues or camouflages by citizens. The only non-military personnels who can do are the Chief Executive officer of the 36 States or the President of the Federal republic of Nigeria. Life is simple. Simply relocate to Benin Republic and get citizenship so you can freely wear your Camo there just like you can in MAAAANNNNNYYY other countries of the world that are citizen-centered. Learn not to expect so much from a country whose constitution is more concerned about outlawing same-sex marriage and the wearing of Camouflage but has no penalty for inefficient Government institutions or officials. 24 Likes 3 Shares |

The brutality of these "force-men" on civilians is extreme! In saner climes, military officers see it as a thing of respect and admiration when civilians put on their camoflauge on the streets but here in the depth of hades, na crime. When it comes to arresting and molesting innocent civilians, these officers are pro-active and fierce but become over-boiled pasta when in the heat of war or crime. I still don't understand why people invite trouble, rather purposely. Even a secondary school student is aware of some basic rules when under the rubric of military system in Nigeria -First, don't make calls at a military check point -second, do not wear anything camouflage. And there's actually a Nigerian law that deters civilians from wearing military uniforms. Now, some may ask about our artistes. Artistes are actors and are usually not restricted in "costumes" as far as it is a "show". Otherwise, do not be surprised if you see Olamide being dragged at a checkpoint by a Soldier that was once lost in the home of Boko haram |

Las las to break rules dey sweet. You just can't catch all the fun in the society if you keep obeying and abiding by all the rules. You won't understand the joy and self-feeling of wearing Camo until you buy one, wear it with designers polo and watch yourself on mirror. You'll be feeling yourself. You'll just be seeing Vin diesel, Dwayne Johnson and Arnold Schwarzenegger all in yourself.

In advanced countries, they see wearing of camo as a sign of love and show of support for their military. But in this shithole called Nigeria, they tag you an impersonator. |
