You should go for a laserjet printer.

I personally have experience with the Hp Laserjet P1000 series.. And mehn that printer strong die! Very economical with toner and cheap replacement parts (it hardly ever breaks down except occasional maintenance). Often do a thousand copies at a stretch (I type and print question papers in a stretch.

You can get two good used ones at the amount in your budget (from an honest dealer).

Whichever one you choose... Hp Laserjet any series seem to be loyal.
