If not urgently reversed, this restriction on tricycles may bring down Sanwo-Olu's government. A lot of Lagosians went through hell getting to their destinations today. If this can happen at weekends when many people didnt go to work, imagine what will happen on Monday? Why place a ban on tricycles when you didn't provide alternatives? Imagine the job losses for many family heads who rely on tricycles as their daily source of income. While many people supported the ban on okada, a lot of Lagosians believe the governor went to the extreme by placing restrictions on tricycles too. In saner climes like Tunisia, Libya or Egypt, this singular action is enough to bring down Sanwo-Olu's government through massive protests

He could have just ban the ones not registered and sensitise the public on what to be on the lookout for, for those who might want to use it to foment trouble. Restrict okadas from plying the major roads!!! OPAYs e.t.c are distinct and can easily be managed!!! Whichever ways you look at it, these means of transportation has more advantages especially to the masses. This decision will not only affect the owners, it will also affect businesses! You ALL need to realise that not all Nigerians are on minimum wage, neither are all employed by the government! Not ALL are into crime, alot are trying to stay away from crime and at the same time provide for their families You can't throw the baby away with the bowl of water.
