Civil Service Job Or Private Firm? by waze63(m): 10:52pm On Feb 03, 2020
Goodevening friends,
Please I need an advice regarding this situation... I have had this job with my state civil service since may last year and they haven't paid us and things have been quite tough with me ever since , but recently the governor issued a clearance for us to be paid as confirmed by sources at the civil service commission in my state (though we are still skeptical)
But just last week a friend of mine who works at a construction company in my state(I'm a civil engineer) helped me secure a job as a weigh bridge operator in the company, the company absorbed me and put me under training as I serve the same office with my friend... The idea is that if am perfect they might actually transfer me to another site maybe outside my state., the job is very demanding and entails that I will be on site all the time and this doesn't give me the time to do my normal daily biometric attendance at the council... Yet company pays almost the same amount with the civil service job but job security is not assured, 'm kinda confused on which one to go for and I don't want to make mistakes
I need a professional advice from wise minds on here please, as this is critical to my future
Which one should I go for?

Bro stay put in the government job because it has more positive prospects than that private company job. I am a private sector employee and to be frank with you I am earnestly praying for a government based employment.

hold on ur current prospect, upon salary payment by Govt, set up a business of your own in a business oriented environment. inasmuch as the jobs are promising, it cant make u rich, as the ultimate embodiment of the gritty mercurial instinct, for which the quintessential business man is known, my propensity in success is through honesty n perseverance.
