Also known as power steering, this consists of a pump that when applied sends the correct amount of pressure to the wheels for smooth turning. A drive belt turns the power steering pump to create pressure. This pressure comes in the form of power steering fluid, which gets pumped from the reservoir container into the steering gear as needed. We will be looking at common signs of a bad or failing power steering pump.
