martin lawrence is hands down the funnyest, every movie ive seen him in has been hilarious, and he has good material when he does stand up

the title of that film is blue streak and its so funny that I bought it several times since its always taken from my library
besides Eddie Murphy is quite goo as well thumbs up to him too.

I don't think that you have to do stand up to be a comedian though. Will Smith has done stand-up before, but not really recently. He does comedies though, and is funny, so isn't that enough to quality as a comedian?
