You can't mean it.
The same borders that have been closed for several months?
Or you are talking of other borders

Importation border closing is not same as humans crossing border.
Also did they close northen border that ppl from Chad and Niger and even border Cameroon sef de take enter?
Even with border closure smugglers de work de go.

The people who don't have control over a single security apparatus should be held responsible for insecurity?

It is a shame.

It is really worrisome that every attention is paid to what the federal government is doing. Majority don't care about how the States and the local governments are managing the huge resources at their disposal. Whereas all these issues manifest from communities and local governments.

What kind of reasoning is this?

Something wey pass Federal government
power, they now want Local Govt

If this must happen the we should have a police reform.. There should b state police
They don't like state police because of the fear of total abandonment by the people and even the state governors who give them tips from the security vote, that is why they keep saying state governors will use the state police wrongly. Like the FG is using the current police rightly.

Please, stop the falsehood. Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu is not owing Abians salary. Abians here on Nairaland said he is not owing them salary. According to them, OVI has made Abia investor friendly.

Ikpeazu is the best Governor in Igboland. Don't spoil his name.

Well tell that to my sister who is teaching in Abia state Polythenic

The policing system in NIgeria is terribly wrong.

I saw the miscreant Arewa group launching northern security. The name alone even show bitterness. What they failed to understand is that they have lost NC long time ago.

The north (with exception of NC which I now see as part of the South), is not in a very good position to enforce things.

If we sneeze here, poverty rate will triple there. For a start, desertification is happening over there. If we begin to seriously look into anti grazing laws, your herds will go and be eating desert sands in the north. No water, no vegetations and you dey do "shege" for people that could send you into oblivion.

They can only take responsibility via community policing.

This man again, APC government never take blame for anything that went went wrong during their administration. They must look for someone to blame who will in turn blame dem them and the blame game goes on until people forget the issue at hand without anything being done to redress the issue.
He is just acting another APC script but they know dat they have failed Nigeria woefully.
State policing is still the best no matter what some selfish ppl think about it and the earlier the police is restructured the better for us
Me I don dey save money to work visa comot from naija, even if Na Asia dem better pass nigeria
May God bless our country

how will terrorism end in Nigeria when we still have legal terrorist groups like MAYEHTTI ALLAH, MURIC and Imams moving freely in the country, when a book(quran) encouraging terrorism is still sold in the country.

Obviously our leaders do not have an idea on how to tackle this menace in as much as the police too are hopeless. If the information from Charlie boy is anything to go about as concerning the infiltration of Lagos by Muslim Shiites to fester an agenda of destabilization of their sponsors who buy them new bikes and send them emasse to Lagos, then we are in for a dire situation. May God help us

It is "he didn't go to school" You can't use the past form of main verb with that of a modal verb. Once the modal or auxiliary verb is in negative past form, the main verb takes positive present.

I support the IG on this, security is everyone business even as they the security agencies Carry the highest burden.

When State government and LGA are doing nothing about job creation. Some Governors are even laying off staffs from their payroll.
Most of the crimes are committed by Locals and not imported person. Even if imported they could only succeed with the aid of the locals.
Meanwhile state policing should be implemented asap.

So the IG is right to an extent.

God bless Nigeria!!!
