Afonjas and greed for money, only Afonja lawmakers tackled the idea of Adeboye. Afonja pigs like money that's why they are ready to betray anyone at anytime for a slice of bread from their Fulani masters table.

Shameless ugly looking people.

for politicians: security vote should be scrapped and pay cut. for churches: church universities tuition fees should be reviewed for it to be accessible for common man on the street

Unfortunately again, southerners are the tools in the hands of the North to attack the the Truth again.
How many constituency projects that they are talking about have we seen?
Liars from the pit of hell.

Wow see unity. The lawmakers are not divided across party/religious/ethnic lines because na all of them go chop. can the masses ever be united?

Don't mind them See the reprobates above. The villans in goverment know they are slow minded and full of sentiment so they play the deflection card. Then they wonder why a critical mass cannot be attained for true change to occur. A people that behave like crabs in a basket.

The man was rightly accused of not speaking up months back. Not only is he speaking up but acting yet it is he and the institition that makes him influential that is being attacked from a people too blind, ignorant and happless to be helped.

Who or what then can cause docile Nigerians to wake up and set themselves free. Civil society they deride, activists they attack, opposition politicians they lampoon, clergy they mock. Who or what can help Nigerians abeg.

Better shut it and sit down... then think of your life for a long time before speaking. Lazy citizen who is comfortable in his chains and confident in his oppressors.

A Nigerian like you actually supported lawmakers spending humongous amounts on imported vehicles while rejecting local alternatives the same week goverment is complaining about the paucity of funds and raising taxes wily-nily. No single Nigerian can tie the two together.... useless things.

Adeboye over to you.

Daddy GO 1-2 House of Assembly.

Adeboye should just accept the challenge by cutting down his tithes collection by 5% instead of 10%. He should also sale one out of his two private jets.
DNT mind the idiot house ppl dey are the most corrupt person I av ever seen in the world,if rccg, winners, deeper life and all church donate dere tithes and offerings, this political maruader will still embezzle it and claim dere salary is not enough for dere family..imagine a representative taking wardrobe, newspaper, car allowance which will sum up to huge amount of Moni not to talk of ur salaries.even dere constituency allowances are embezzled nothing to show the world for it.imagine I me not knowing the person representing me at the state and federal house and u claim to b representing me..senatky representing ogun state staying in Abuja does dat correlation.my ppl the major problem with Nigeria nw is the house either the big or small..but my blv is ur will reap wat u sow at the end

Pastor Adeboye is speaking the truth. There is no way there will be infrastructural development looking at the cost of governance in Nigeria. The cost is extremely high. 75% of our revenue goes to salaries and allowances, how can you expect meaningful progress with this ratio

Cuting salarying isn’t the issue bt reducing cost of governments either by reducing the nums of Senators and reps and then enforcing transparency in government spending to ensure money is used for the exact purpose and to the required quality of jobs.

Pastor also share a leadership blame and that is why the politicians can accuse them. See they didn’t accuse any priests because the Catholic system as rich as it is doesn’t give wealth to one man or spend money recklessly as sm Pentecostal Churches. I understand Pentecostal System is different in establishment bt it breeds more crime by its workers just look at oyedepo’s Church. Pastors are stealing just like politicians and it’s everywhere.

this argument is simple both of you should take pay cuts by 50% and leave us alone because when all hell breaks loose the masses would decend on both the rich politicians and even the so called G.O there would be no hiding place for anyone

The church has done more in our society than our government has done. The standard of education in church owned private schools can't be compared to the rubbish the government gives.

Churches are now involved in corporate social responsibility, a case study of the health centres and medical devices the RCCG provides and the road the Winners chapel constructs.

These law makers should just point to three meaningful constituency project, let me see.

There was a time my church saw to the chemotherapy and dialysis of two members who couldn't afford it.

The church has now needed to draw a line between "charity" (which should not be broadcasted and put in camera) and social responsibility to please its attackers.

The church will keep matching on and the gate of hell can never and will never prevail against it.
Now we know the church you attend

How come that whenever the cutting down of salaries of lawmakers are omentioned, they outrightly go berserk?
That is because the salaries are small. Truth be told shall i ones did my I.T In one of the SSG'S office under DFA some time ago,the salaries of this people are not big compared to the nature of the work dey do. I think they should be thinking of slashing their allowances cos that is where the excesses are from. The PS then earns around 200k smtn there about.

Hmmm.... if members of two branches can find the time to sit and respond to what one pastor said to his worshippers... then they really are not making all efforts to serve their constituents... as their mouth be saying. The pastor too... casting the first stone as if he is without sin.

Stop this nounsence, the so called Orthordost churches had done more than that. They pioneered Education n Health Care System. They built many schools n handled them to Govt. Their hospitals were first class n open to all sundry e.g. Baptists, Methodists, Anglicans, Catholics, Presbyterians etc

You are a slowpoke. What’s your business with pastors. People give them out of their own volition. The government collects taxes from you forcefully and spend it lavishly on these unproductive imbeciles. You should face the government and not the church. The church does not owe you anything.

If only all our religious leaders are united in this call....a call that should have been consistent since 1999 when we started this democracy of corruption!

Alas! It's still our religious leaders that benefits the most from these politricksians as they are the ones who can afford to donate millions in offerings, tithes and seeds.
Re: 50% Pay Cut: Pastor Adeboye Tackled By Lawmakers by Onlyonebuhari: 1:01pm On Feb 08, 2020
In their reactions, members of the executive and the legislature disagreed with Pastor Adeboye’s proposal arguing that the church should lead the way by sacrificing a percentage of their tithes and offerings. According to them, the churches amass wealth by collecting money from their members with pastors buying private jets while their members could not even afford to send their children to the schools established by theses churches with their money.

Over to shameless pastors and ruthless politicians. No single pastor in Europe or US can boost of private jets but their Church members live a better lifes while Nigerian jobless Pastors have highest number of jets in the world but their Church members can't afford a daily meals.
What a shame of empty CAN.
