These five books will challenge every typically wrong notion you have about writing but most importantly, your writing skills will be greatly enhanced. If your goal is to write better content more regularly, then you should read these 5 books.

1. EVERYBODY WRITES
Call this book an encyclopedia of writing and you won’t be wrong. With 74 chapters on almost everything on writing, this book authored by Ann Handley Wiley teaches on how to create ‘ridiculously good content.’ Ann proved in this book that writing is a habit and not an art. She also teaches on how best to swap position with your reader. How do you get easier with the INK? By thINKing. These and more are what to expect from everybody writes.

2. STEIN ON WRITING
Can you beat this? Differentiating between nonfiction illustration and fiction illustration. Take this examples:
Illustration 1: New York City has more than 1,400 homeless people.
Illustration 2: The man who has laid claim to bench on the corner of 88th Street and Park Avenue is one of New York City’s 1,400 homeless people. This book will teach you how to evoke sensation in the reader. For example, you are not just to tell that it is raining but make your readers feel like they are being drenched inside the rain.
The book main subjects covered such as the essentials of writing, the craft of fiction, the subject of interest to all writers, the application of fictional techniques for the enhancement of nonfictions, literary values for both fiction and nonfictions. By the way, Stein is an accomplished writer, a master editor of some of the most successful writers.

3. THE SENSE OF STYLE
In this Steven Pinker’s all-time classic, you will equipped with the thinking person’s guide to writing in the 21st century. Published by Penguin Books with first publication in 2014, the book has 6 chapters including Good writing, a window into the world and the curse of knowledge. Steven Pinker already has ten other books on writing improvement. Warning: this book is highly witty and comprehensive. It is about 4,620 pages. Divide that figure by ten that’s actually the number of pages, so you need not panic.

4. YOU ARE A WRITER
In a most engaging style of writing, Jeff Goins made it look like you are on a one-on-one coaching session with him. Leaving no stone unturned, the author bared it all on how you can just write. How you can fall back in love with the writing craft, build a platform and focus more on what you were made to do which is to write. With great content such as writers are born, not made; the truth about writing, building a platform, establishing a brand, getting started among others.
By the way, Jeff is a writer, speaker, and communicator. He believes in the power of words to change the world. He is a regular to Zen Habits voted by TIME magazines as one of the top 50 websites of 2008

5. COMMUNICATION SKILLS TRAINING
Communication skills training is a practical guide to improving your social intelligence, presentation, persuasion and even public speaking is a part of a series on positive psychology coaching. Authored by Ian Tuhovsky who blogs via www.mindfulnessforsuccess.com. About 195 pages, the book is in two parts;
Part I: The right attitude and a little bit about emotions and part II is about communication skills including the most basic and conversational fixes, phrases to purge your Dictionary and what to substitute them with.
