Good evening fellas, i just noticed that FG charges you #50 for the airtime you buy using your mobile app. I recently loaded an airtime of #100 from my first bank mobile app and i was charged #50 for stamp duty. Please since when did this one start?

You can only see the deduction from your acct when you use your banking app. Such deduction message doesn't show on your sms.

I was Charged #100 for recharging #200 yesterday for the same stamp charge. So the charge is half of what you recharge. Chineke meee

It's not everything that is FG. Sometimes, your bank is trying to be funny through little pickpocket.

I have been using mobile apps to load my phone, I load 100 naira like 3 times daily and not single incidents of stamp duty charges. I use HB, Unity and UBN apps depending on which I have money.

Call your bank and tell them you have caught them in their petty pickpockets. Probably, even report them to CBN or at least threaten to.

I think say na Access bank. Those guys suppose don advance enter street with AKs and mask.
