Exactly my thoughts . They don't want to experience what poor people are used to on daily basis

Majority of Nigerians will hustle for a lifetime and die without being able to afford trips that these political criminals enjoy in Nigerian prisons.

“My lord as you can see, the first defendant who is less than 60 is already bent with age.”

If his lawyer said this, then the lawyer ought to be disbarred.

"...the first defendant, who is less than 60"

"....is already bent with age"

If he's less than 60 how is he "bent with age"?

Clearly being 60 is not old enough to get someone "bent"

If he's bent as a result of physical malady and not age, why then did the lawyer say he's "bent with age"?

This lawyer is either befuddled, or talked himself into a corner

I visited Kuje prison last December as a humanitarian visit, I swear those politicians that are remanded in that prison are enjoying they have all the amenities gym, sports arena, in fact, all the goodies that they had in their homes were replicated there. Some of the so-called Yahoo boys are also enjoying.

I saw Abdulrashid Maina and so many top-notch dignitaries,

Seems that's what they steal money for...to spend on health issues..

Is the choice of prison also part of his fundamental human right?

Former Attorney General ? . Who does he think he is to make decisions for himself after his crimes?
For the know, there are two laws in place one for the rich & powerful and one for the rest of the people. He is obviously above the law that is used for every other Nigerians. The current drama is because he hasn't accepted the offer in their own laws once he does case closed like many that we have seen.

He should go to prison. The EFCC is not a prison service. No one should be detained there more than 24 or 48 hours as the case may be.

He's bent in age ? But can still commit crimes ?

When we called the animals kingdom where bigger animals in government are stealing public money, the same smaller animals in political parties always attacking us for exposing these dirty wicked animals in government now and before.

Corrupt creation of terrorist lugard sponsored by British the chief creator of terrorist.

The current animals terrorist in power are stealing their own from BIAFRALAND resources as if we don't know.

Citizenshelm:

former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Adoke (SAN), on Monday, expressed his preference to be remanded in the Kuje Correctional Centre to the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

His lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome (SAN), spoke on his behalf shortly after he was arraigned on fresh money laundering charges at the Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday.

“The law says, ‘come and stand trial’, it did not say ‘come and sit trial or come and prostate trial’.

Now they can quote law, because it's one of them.
