With Google moving away from Chrome apps, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) are now seen to be rapidly replacing them. YouTube Music, Google Maps, and Google Photos have all joined the ranks, and now Google Drive is on the list as well.

Android comes with a feature that very few of its users make use of. And this feature is called Progressive Web Apps (PWA). These apps can be installed, without the help or need of any app store, and it will be live on the Android home screen. PWA applications offer an immersive, fullscreen experience and most of them can even offer web push notifications.
