Recently, the ramat square has filled to its capacity by residents of maiduguri to witness the long forgotten horse racing competition which was conducted peacefully, having in attendance are district heads,traditional title holders from the borno emirate and other top government officials, speaking shortly after the competition one the dignitaries says the horse racing is part of the culture of borno people, prizes were given to the winners.
