Don Sylvester Chinedu Nweke, CEO of Don Sylvester Records has been nominated to receive the 2020 Entertainment personality of the year award at the Nollywood Economic Outlook and Good Governance Award.

Speaking to Entertainment editors at the Lagos Sheraton Hotel, Maimuna Yahaya, Executive Secretary of the award board stated that Syvester Nweke beat other contenders to emerge winner in the keenly contested category.

“Innovation, Impact, Industry comments, storylines, service delivery were key components in the criteria considered by the award committee panel that selected the award winners. The four months long period involved gathering series of detailed information on KPIs, Artists satisfaction, due diligence, production management, target, growth strategies and ethical practices. At the end, Sylvester Chinedu Nweke was the adjudged overall winner scoring 7.5 per cent. Sylvester Chinedu Nweke impact is felt not only in the music but also in the Movie industry, business landscape humanitarian among others”. Maimuna Yahaya posited.

The prestigious Entertainment personality of the year award shall be presented to Sylvester Chinedu Nweke on February 20, 2020 in Lagos at a grand and colourful ceremony which shall be attended by local and international media, commissioners of Tourism from across the country, Nollywood Stakeholders, International community, among others.
