E-Voting is said to be the most safest, fastest and reliable form of voting, especially online voting used in Estonia. Polling place electronic voting or Internet voting examples have taken place in Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Estonia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Namibia, the Netherlands (Rijnland Internet Election System), Norway, Peru, Switzerland, the UK, Venezuela, and the Philippines. E-Voting would prevent: -Prevent loss of lives and property; No more going to polling units to vote. -Unnecessary Expenses and decrease the budget allocated to Elections. -Prevent election rigging -Prevent thuggery -No more issues, like card reader is not recognizing my fingerprint -You can monitor all votes as every vote entered is counted automatically. -Prevent delay in the release of results. Once the voting time elapsed the result shows automatically. Let us have a re-think, Can’t E-Voting be possible in Nigeria? @Cloudconcept |

cloudconcept: In other to have E-voting, the electoral act must be changed to accomodate it. Most of the thieves we call politicians, both at federal and state level are there because of electoral malpractice. Do you really think that they same people will adopt E-voting that could see most of them leave office in 2023? I dont think so 1 Like |
