Club Olimpia, signs Emmanuel Adebayor on free transfer. The former Monaco, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Tottenham striker, , has joined the Paraguayan side today

The 35-year-old made his breakthrough in Europe when he joined Arsenal from Monaco back in 2006 as he won the African Player of the Year award two years later.

To his credit, Adebayor has an impressive tally of 97 goals and 44 assists in 242 Premier League games.

Adebayor has been without a club since December after terminating his contract with Kayserispor, ending his three-month spell at the Turkish side.

After joining league rivals Manchester City, Adebayor spent a year and a half with the Cityzens before heading to Real Madrid to win the 2011 Spanish Cup.

The Togo international made his return to England a year later to have spells at Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace as he departed to Turkey in 2017.
