In a surprise move, Peter Esele, a known ally of the National Chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Adams Oshiomhole has called for his removal.

Esele who was the National President of the Trade Union Congress at the same time Oshiomhole head the National Labour Congress, said the APC has retrogressed under its current National Chairman.

He also expressed disappointment over the statements made by the APC national chairman of recent.

Esele in a Facebook post shared on Saturday asked his friend to resign honorably. Recall that the former TUC president vied for the APC governorship ticket, with Oshiomhole throwing his weight behind Governor Godwin Obaseki.
