The High Court sitting in Sagamu, Ogun State has on Wednesday, ruled in favour of Prince Toyin Akinde as a legitimate son of Idejiyo ruling house in Igbesa and fit to contest the vacant stool of Oloja Ekun of Igbesa, in Ado-Odo/ Ota area of Ogun State.

It will be recalled that the stool of Oloja Ekun of Igbesa land has been vacant since the demise of late Oba Samuel Olushola Banuso JP in 2014 and the regency council led by chiefs and other stakeholders in the town had elected Prince Toyin AbdulAzeez Akinde as the new Oloja Ekun, a decision which threw the whole community in a wild jubilation as the selection of Prince Akinde seem to be the popular choice.
