This unintelligent crude behavior is the reason why most people no longer respect the nigerian army,ok if the gun men had not attacked the army but attack helpless civilian will the army act so decisively?,what is the proof that the locals in that community are aware of the attackers that the army will ask them to fish out?, criminals are not fools but the army keep over n over again anytime their personnel are attacked, instead using Intel to get the culprit they often results to issuing ultimatums to the closet communities n eventually destroying them, destroying innocent persons properties n even killing innocent persons while the actual culprit go Scot free n it even appears the government is in support of the unruly behavior of the army as no action has ever been taken against them,the army has been involved in lot of killings even of fellow security personnel,the case of the police officers that arrested wandume in taraba state comes to mind and nothing is been done.

So when they killed soldiers, the Army will raid and destroy the Fulani settlements. But when they kill civilians and burn their houses and properties, nothing is done.
