Phronesis Medicare International is a healthcare company specialized in delivering emergency training to healthcare and non healthcare personnel.
Our services are known for excellence and professionalism. We have been successful in rendering excellent services to our client. We partner with international bodies to train members of the public, staffs, schools, churches, mosque, the Nigerian police, the Nigerian army, road safety corps and lot more on basic life support training.
As we all know that most emergencies do not happen inside the hospital but rather in the pre-hospital settings; therefore the time interval between when such emergency will occur to the time the victim gets to the hospital is indeed a long hour; the victim might die or live depending on timely response.
It is against this backdrop that we are pleased to train everyone on how to resuscitate a victim of cardiac arrest so as to prevent death and irreversible brain damage.
Phronesis Medicare international currently serves over 100 of customers in our various activities ranging from emergency training, ambulance services, home Medicare care, inter-hospital transfer, heart savers CPR training and certifications.
We are group of expertise who is trained in pre-hospital emergency and are Australian registered paramedics with an international award in delivery training.

About the training

The American Heart Association Basic Life Support training is designed to equip the trainee with life-saving skills including high quality Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for victims of all age groups and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Following the training, participants will be able to recognize emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest and appropriately respond to them.

The Purpose Of This Curriculum:

This curriculum focuses on what first responders need to know about what to do in diverse emergency scenarios as well as to perform CPR in a wide variety of in- and out-of-hospital or clinic/work settings. The curriculum itemizes the information and skills they will learn in the class as follows:

• Initiating the Chain of Survival for diverse emergency situations
• Performing prompt, high quality chest compressions for Adult, Child and Infant Victims
• Initiating early use of an AED
• Providing appropriate rescue breaths
• Practicing 2-Rescuer team CPR
• Relieving choking

Course Outcomes

The course outcomes of this course are to enable the student to:
• Demonstrate basic first aid skills needed to control bleeding and immobilize injuries.
• Demonstrate the skill needed to assess the ill or injured person.
• Demonstrate skills to assess and manage foreign body airway obstruction in infants, children and adults.
• Demonstrate skills to provide one-and two-person high quality cardiopulmonary
Resuscitation to infants, children and adults.
• Recall rationale and technique for automated external defibrillation.
• Demonstrate proper use of pocket mask during resuscitation attempts

Learning Objectives

The learning outcomes of this course are to enable the student to:
Cognitive Objectives:
• Explain how to give CPR to an adult, child, and infant.
• Explain how to use an AED.
• Explain how to use a mask.
• Explain how to use a bag-mask.
• Explain how to do rescue breathing for adult, child and infant.
• Explain how to help a chocking adult, child, and infant.
• List signs of choking.



Psychomotor Objectives:

• Initiate the Chain of Survival.
• Perform prompt, high-quality CPR with C-A-B sequence.
• Initiate early use of an AED (adult/child/infant)
• Provide appropriate breaths
• Practice the minor basic life support differences for children and infants.
• Practice team CPR (adult/infant)

DURATION FOR TRAINING

This course will be design to fit into the time convenient for our clients and it will take 4 to 5 hours
