Roger Federer after undergoing an arthroscopic knee surgery on wednesday, is set to miss series of tournaments, and had withdrawn from the upcoming French Open when it begins in May


The 38-year-old Swiss, made the dire news official on Thursday via his Social media handle saying;

“My right knee has been bothering me for a little while."
 “I hoped it would go away, but after an examination, and discussion with my team, I decided to have arthroscopic surgery in Switzerland.”
After the knee surgery, the doctor's confirmed that it was the right thing to have done....

Federer, who is ranked No. 3 and has won a record 20 Grand Slam men's singles titles, concluded by saying that He is very grateful for everyone's support, and that he can't wait to be back playing again soon...
