In the book of mark 10: 35- 40 (Matthew 20:20-23) James and John approach Jesus Christ with their mother and ask of him to permit them to both sit at his left and right in his glory, Jesus replied them asking if they can drink the cup he his about to drink and they replied yes, Jesus agrees that they can drink of the cup but the sit were already prepared for those for it.

These men have the power to turn the water into blood
These men have the power to strike the earth with any kind of plague
We all know of Elijah who pray for the sky not to give its rain (James 5:17)
We all know of account of Moses and the event of plague on Egypt (Deut 34:10)
The miracles God used them for were acknowledged in the land of Israel and was talk about for ages, even the Israelites mistook Jesus to be Elijah ( Matthew 16:14)
