Going through the content on nairaland as a whole gives an impression that the totality of attention of Nigerians oscilliates round characters that are bad role models and individuals of highly questionable moral stance.

However,i feel our energy, attention and focus have been misdirected towards recognising and even acknowledging the presence of individuals that we all should encourage history to dump in its trash cans.

I have created this thread to throw up those individuals i call the "Real Patriots of the Nigerian State".These individuals have silently in their own little way projected the image of the country in a positive light, displayed the true "can do spirit" of a Nigerian, excelled in their chosen profession or vocation and blazed the trail despite all odds, earned a just and honest living and have contributed to the positive advancement of humanity.

Feel free to throw up names and profiles of Nigerians that have met all the criterias specifed above and please do not tribalise this thread, lets celebrate and acknowledge the existence of these great Nigerians and show that Nigeria indeed has got CHAMPIONS THAT WE ALL CAN BE PROUD OF.
