Simple answer, No! Abuse of alcohol is sin. Drunkenness is sin.
Should we then encourage believers to drink alcohol? No! But you don't condemn those who drink (quality ones esp) in moderation. And you DON'T encourage those who think drinking alcohol is sin or will defile them.

Quality red wine or other quality drinks is what I think is safe to drink. I tend to avoid excessively processed drinks like our typical cheap beer, Kiki, sachet/bottled spirit. They are mostly of poor quality and can be dangerous to your health.

How often should one drink? I tend to drink once in a month or don't drink at all. If I visit someone in my village and they offer palm wine (probably a quality drink) I will accept and drink little in order not to get drunk.

A day without beer is a wasteful day.

Encouraging others to get drunk is a sin.

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient (helpful) : all things are lawful for me, but all things edify (build up) not.
