However, their was an uproar of disapproval when the secretary to the Hausawa community in Alimosho, Ibrahim Abubakar speaking on behalf of the Hausa community and Miyetti Allah in the state cautioned against provocative statements on Amotekun by some people.

He said they should be given a sense of belonging and be carried along, saying “we don’t have anything against Amotekun but we want to be carried along”, he said.

Given the interest this group, Miyeti Allah has develop in the Amotekun Plans, our leaders must not sleep with two eyes. The Miyeti Allah group may want to infiltrate the rank and file of the force during recruitment and at their operational zones.

Everyone to be recruited must be indigenous to the state where he/she is seeking to be engaged. Beyond that, each person must be traceable to a local government, a town and indeed a family in the said town. There are so many of their sons and daughters born around Oke Koto - Agege or Mushin/Idi Araba who'll probably speak Yoruba more than some indigenous sons and daughters. Our leaders must be keen eyed to be able to weed off the fifth columnist who may want to negate the lofty objective behind this great project of intellectual preponderance.

Are you impotent fathers in Igboland not begging your cowardly Governors to copy Yorubas and have their own version of Amotekun?

The IGP came to the SE and addressed instructed Governors like delinquent schoolboys to adopt community policing. They dare not talk nonsense.
