Ihedioha’s “midas Touch” On Technical And Vocational Education In Imo by ImoFirstBorn: 6:15am On Feb 25, 2020
While touring the State on campaign, prior to the 2019 election, one campaign promise remained consistent for His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha.

The issue of Technical and Vocational Education was a recurring decimal as the train moved from one LGA to the other.

The man Ihedioha believes that Imo can become a huge investor in human capital development, and use the output to redefine the fortunes of the State.

In the past, many forgot about the Four major Technical Collages in the State, strategically located across the three zones of the State, with one at the municipal.

Ihedioha’s vision for Imo is to comprehensively revive the Four Technical Colleges with state-of-the -art equipments that would enable Imo compete favorably anywhere in the world.

Ahiara Technical College is modeled to be a Teachers' Training Technical College, with its focus also on Block Laying, Brick Laying and Concrete Works.

Government College Owerri will capture in its curriculum, NTC Motor Vehicle Works (Automotive); Mechanical Engineering Craft Pratice, Welding and Fabrication.

Government Technical College, Okohia Osu, Isiala Mbano, is modeled to cover NTC Furniture Design and Construction Code, named Furniture Making-230.

While Government Technical College, Okporo, Orlu is modeled to cover NBC Clothing and Textile, (Garment Making) and Catering Craft Practice.

These diverse range of specialties are the areas of focus, beyond the standard accredited courses available in all the four institutions.

Ihedioha’s vision is to make Imo an exporter of Human Resources and Capacity which Imo was known for.

Ihedioha no doubt came to work for Ndi Imo which is one of his crimes today, refusing to share with only few while depriving the people --the masses-- the real dividends of democracy.

The dream of Rebuilding Imo is not conquered. Imo shall rise again.

Imo Bu Nke Anyi.

Is this not a recipe for chaos?

Let the matter rest and move on. Why is that a hard pill for you people?

Move on.

Bayelsa got the other end of the stick, it's not peculiar.
