A student of the University of uniosun has had her left ear bitten off by her roommate, identified as Folakemi, at their hostel in #Osogbo, #OsunState

It was gathered that the incident occurred on Wednesday, 19th February, 2020, during a misunderstanding over closing of their room door.

Our attention has been drawn to a piece of online news published by Instablog9ja and some blogs recently that: “UNIOSUN Female Student Bites off Her Roommates Ear. ”The management of Osun State University hereby places it on record that no student of the University bears Folakemi without a surname and Yoyinsola without a surname.

Ever since the University resumed the new academic session, we have not recorded any misunderstanding or serious fight between our students either on the main campus or any of its campuses.

We hereby view the publication as mischievous, given the fact that the Instablog correspondent chose not to confirm the authenticity of the story from the University authority or the concerned students before publishing a piece of unverified information from an unknown source.
