Anambra continues campaign against Lassa fever and Coronavirus[quote][/quote]

In continuation of the state Government's campaign against coronavirus and laser fever, the special Adviser to the Governor on public orientation and special duties mrs Ify Obinabo over the weekend visited Ochanja central market, St.Joseph's Catholic church Aguleri and cathedral church of St Gabriel's, Anglican communion umuleri.

Addressing traders at the market and worshippers at the two churches, the special Adviser urged her listeners to desist from contact with Bats to avoid the outbreak of coronavirus .

On the spread of laser fever, she admonished them to avoid contact with Rats since it is capable of infecting man with the deadly disease through its wastes, noting that the best possible way to avoid its contract is by cultivating high cleanliness culture both at home and in their business places.

Mrs Obinabo pleaded with her audience to always cover their food properly to avoid contact with Rats, to wash their hands and use sanitizers regularly and avoid body contact with people.

While addressing specifically traders at Ochanja central market, the special Adviser on special duties and public orientation, Mrs Obinabo stressed the need for Traders to collaborate with men of fire service during emergency situations so that the common goal of saving lives and property could be achieved.

She decried a situation where some young traders stone fire service men, probably because of assumed delayed response during fire outbreak.

She suggested that such future delay should be officially reported to the state Government through the office of fire service, promising that adequate punitive measures will be taken against such an offender.
