They get a furniture allowance of 300% and an accomodation allowance of 200%. The vehicle loan is optional to the tune of 7.9m; key word is optional equivalent to 400%. Then they get a severance gratuity of 300%

Last time i checked, each senator earns between 12-15million Naira monthly as salary. This is besides lobbying nd all sort. Which i estimate a monthly figure of 25-30m depending on the strength of individual senators network. Now if constituents allowances are added, you can stretch it further to say 40-45m per month


If they earn so little where does the bulk funds for sponsoring lavish elections come from.

The big money you're referring to comes when you start embezzling, collecting bribes and doing all sorts of financial malfeasance. If you go to the senate and decide not to do anything illegal.
