Plus regular allowances they take 794,086 monthly

They get a furniture allowance of 300% and an accomodation allowance of 200%. The vehicle loan is optional to the tune of 7.9m; key word is optional equivalent to 400%. Then they get a severance gratuity of 300%

There's a statutoru budget that's public for this which upon scrutiny a sound mind would work the maths out. From this budget, simply calculate salary deductions to get the actual figure.

Last time i checked, each senator earns between 12-15million Naira monthly as salary. This is besides lobbying nd all sort. Which i estimate a monthly figure of 25-30m depending on the strength of individual senators network. Now if constituents allowances are added, you can stretch it further to say 40-45m per month

If they earn so little where does the bulk funds for sponsoring lavish elections come from.

Why do you think they try to kill, join cults, go all the way just to stay politically relevant

If you doubt my facts, lets put it to test. We have their phone contcats in the public domain, lets seek a legal authorization to gain access to the bank accounts linked with their phone numbers and with every accounts linked with their BVN and check the monthly inflows ( All this can be done without them knowing ).

There's a massive difference between salaries and allowances. The figures you're quoting I'm sure are allowances

SocialJustice:
Please listen without prejudice. That is what you receive as a senator. The big money you're referring to comes when you start embezzling, collecting bribes and doing all sorts of financial malfeasance. If you go to the senate and decide not to do anything illegal. This is your money. I think he omitted quarterly bonuses though but even that will not give you the big money at the senate.

Sen. Ajibola Bashiru, is that you?
You people should keep chopping our money, e go hook una for throat one day.

Some of our Nigeria politicians are worst than Corona virus
...

Its a pity we are quick to blame even those who don't affect our everyday living directly...I'm not absorbing the blame off this administration run by buhari but this is just rubbish...how do you treat your own people this way? I have never supported corruption but even if you want to steal govt funds, use 90% allocated to the job for the job and keep 10% if you must steal o...but these people take 95% execute projects like these with 5%...what if people where on that bridge when it fell? You'll still hear " buhari is at fault" for something he knows nothing about...Nigerians are the problem of Nigeria..I support you on this
