The landscape cameraman and
the special pilot lost their jobs to
innovation just in the space of 10 years.

It is not that innovation is taking our jobs,
we should upgrade ourselves and be ready
for the innovation.
The landscape cameraman should have
upgraded himself by learning
how to use the drone camera.

Just few years back, you know what it takes
to borrow money from the bank,
but now there are Apps that will borrow you
money within 5 minutes without
leaving where you are…..

I am actually talking about in Nigeria….
Are you surprised!!!
See names of some of the app; Branch, Sokoloan,
Paylater or Carbon, Fair money and others.
What will happen to those working
in that department in the banks? ….
Your guess is as good as mine.

It doesn't matter whether you're working
or you are looking for a job,
adding new skills to your skill set
will make you knowledgeable and
ensure that you remain relevant
in this fast paced world.

Otherwise you lose out to your colleagues
or other job seekers who
may be more updated in latest trend.

P.S: Most jobs are dynamic and constantly changing.
Therefore, you must be adaptable and up-to-date
with the trends and developments in your field.
So you need to upgrade your skills
constantly to keep your job secure.
