fergie001: But if Abia needs an Airport, it should be close to populated Aba, the business hob, not Umuahia a civil service town.. I am not from Abia State. |

The state needs an airport - cargo airport quite alright, but that after transforming the state (Aba) to an industrial complex. He should get rid of the huge filth littered or the whole place, get the roads in good shape and dualised. This in turn will allow investors to invest in hotels and other businesses (real estate, warehouses, distribution/logistics etc) Basically, the gov should hasn't set his priorities right. This will definitely turn to another white elephant project. It's a shame the state and the country in general lack visionary leaders. |

Nadio2019: ...Where it is located criss-crosses Aba and Umuahia, precisely Obi-Ngwa (where the Gov hails from)/Ikwuano. They wanted a place in proximity to the commercial capital as well as the administrative capital. Land is also an issue. Most of the places in Aba, have been taken as a result of development. So, its present site is OK. 1 Like |

This Gorilla-looking idiot wants to "build" an airport while owing workers 17 months of salary arrears! Petioners are almost forgotten! Most roads in the State are bad. No pipe-borne water (yet waterboard receives public money). No stable electricity. No security of life and property. And yet this crooked incompetent idiot wants to "build" airport! Ikpeazu is a criminal who is only looking for new ways to loot public fund! This guy is presently the worst governor in Nigeria! 1 Like |

Focusmind: Abia people voted for Otti. Ikpeazu was rigged in after he lost. Abia is being held hostage by people who are intent on keeping the state the way that it is. You have no idea how wicked and devious the people holding Abia State down are. They consider Abians helpless fools and think internet propagandists can perpetuate their power forever while Abians live in filth and decay and they make away with all the wealth meant for the state. |
