The stadium, which have a total capacity of around 41,000 people, has been named as the venue for the biggest prize in women’s football. It will be the second UEFA final to be held at the Juventus Stadium. In 2014Juventus Stadium hosted the Europa League final, which was played between Sevilla and Benfica, with the Portuguese side beating the Bianconeri en route to the final 2-1 on aggregate. The stadium can not host the men’s Champions League final because of the relatively average size of the arena, though. The stadium opened in September 2011 after 16 years in the hated Stadio delle Alpi, and five years in the Stadio Olimpico di Torino.
