- They also want players to stay away from taking pictures with strangers
The authorities in charge of the National Basketball
Association known as the NBA have warned their
players to avoid high fives with fans and strangers
in serious efforts to fight the spread of deadly
coronavirus. Coronavirus has thrown the world into serious
panic and unbalanced state of minds following the
outbreak in China where many have contracted the disease and are battling for survival. Basketball players are known to like celebrating
with fans after or before games and they have now
been warned to desist from such act. According to the report on AP, NBA chiefs took this
decision so as to prevent the spread of the virus

before the recommendation was adopted on
Monday, March 2, in attempts to avoid contracting
the virus. The latest information is also reported to have gone

NBA players have also been warned not to take
items like pens, balls and jerseys from fans who

also cited on ESPN. Coronavirus has spread across many countries with
world leaders and scientists going into several
meetings in finding lasting solution to the virus. The outbreak of the disease has also been giving
an headache to people in charge of various football
Leagues in the world.
Many Italian Serie A games were postponed last
week due to the outbreak of the disease as FA have
proposed that all games should be played behind
closed doors. Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how An Italian- Nigerian professional footballer named King Paul
Akpan Udoh reportedly emerged as the first footballer to be diagnosed with the deadly corona- virus. The entire world has been thrown into serious
panic since the outbreak of the deadly disease
which emanated from China in which hundreds are
currently battling for survival. Until he was said to have been confirmed a carrier
of the disease, King Paul Akpan was playing in the
Italian third division side with Pianese.
