#Coronavirus has lead to a huge loss of revenue in businesses around the world, the world’s wealthiest people were not exempted.

The virus outbreak affected each of their business in a way or the other, the market experienced the worst week ever with a total amount of $83.4 billion loss by 10 known billionaires.

The world experiences a rapid spread of coronavirus within and outside of China- the case is recorded as a huge impact on the economy has approximately 85,000 confirmed cases and 2,900 death across the world.

Leaving investors around the world-shaking about its huge impacts on global economies. This leads to a huge sell-off of stocks around the world this past week.

Billionaires Affected


Jeff Bezos, Amazon owner, the world’s wealthiest person experienced a loss of $14.1 billion in the past week, he was regarded as the biggest loser of the week. This made his net worth stands at $113.6 billion.

He was affected due to his factories not being able to open due to the outbreak,

Amazon is not to prepare for the upcoming prime day in July due to a lack of enough inventory to fulfill orders.

Warren Buffett, Oracle owner, experience a loss of $9.8 billion and making his net-worth stand at $80.3 billion.
