Heard it costs $3,000 to get tested for the virus in the u.s. Healthcare is too expensive in America. Best not to just fall sick.
Imagine charging that much, even a carrier won't want to get tested and thereby making such carrier to spreading it all around.

Can't they just make it free like HIV?

Also, mortality rate is about 2-3%, so if you are not very young and not very old your chances of surviving is approximately 100%.
Based on research from China, age 0 to 9 years seems to have the strongest resistance against the virus among all age groups.

Sometimes I think WE (humans) have overstayed our welcome in this world.

There should be an international Day of prayers tagged "GOD WE ARE TIRED"

We need to ask God to shorten his waiting period.

As a future scientist (that’s if there is still future for humanity) these words you said here are big words which you don’t even have the slightest clue. Humans is long overdue for the next extinction level event.

If you think you have the virus and are developing signs, don’t stress yourself trying to go get tested.

It is of no use, except to quarantine you and isolate you from the general public, so you don’t spread it....but you can do that yourself and self-quarantine yourself in your house, drink plenty of fluid, rest very well do everything to nourish yourself to give your immune system a fighting chance.

There is no magic pill the hospital can give you that ‘cure’ a virus infection all that can be done is aid your body immune system to fight the virus invaders, and you can do the same from the comfort of your house.

Also, mortality rate is about 2-3%, so if you are not very young and not very old your chances of surviving is approximately 100%.

Very good write-up.

The head of the World Health Organization said on Tuesday that the global mortality rate for Covid-19, the disease caused by the new coronavirus, was 3.4 percent, a figure that primarily reflects the outbreak in China, where the vast majority of cases have been detected.

Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the organization’s director general, said in a news conference in Geneva that Covid-19 was deadlier than the seasonal flu but did not transmit as easily. “Globally, about 3.4 percent of reported Covid-19 cases have died,” Dr. Tedros said. “By comparison, seasonal flu generally kills far fewer than 1 percent of those infected.”

The estimate takes into account the growing number of infections being recorded outside China, mostly in Iran, Italy and South Korea.

this isn't self deceit though

Over 90,000 people have gotten this virus and somehow, it is yet to spread in Africa, Coronavirus is not compatible with Africans as it is with other people/continents. This is what experts have suggested

It is not self-deceit, some of you just believe that you deserve every virus the world has to offer because you are in Africa. How many Africans have been infected by SARS, another virus that emanates from Asia?

Give it time, come back in a week with your "We are immune to COVID 19" claim. Youve only just got patient zero, and you're wondering why COVID isn't spreading.

That line about deserving every virus is just utter and complete rubbish.
A viral infection will affect anyone, whether they be brown, white, black or bleached.

All epidemics start with patient zero, then the story tells itself from then on. One only hopes we can at least delay its inevitable spread.

Incubation period is between 2 days-2 weeks, even the patient zero is still alive last we checked.

Every other country has recorded multiple patients, within days of their own patient zero, except African nations.

A week has already passed since the Italian came down here and nothing, it must not be incubating well enough.

Until you have an actual patient to speak of, it is not self deceit, I have told you the position of experts. Your pessimism is leading you on

Trump is a local man and myopic white supremacist just like Nigerian's Fulani supremacist, after cutting obamas ebola/desease prevention team due to what he termed wastefull spending, cutting mediacare (health insurance) and cutting Social seciurity only to up the military spending, tax cut for his elite friend, wall building budget, and his travel expense to play golf it is clear US are just as doomed as Nigeria.. he lies brazenly and his follower support it like a religion

.

U can’t test every random person without finding if they qualify based on necessary info or exposure level Assessment.

What’s wrong with that

But you don't really know anything oh. Trump has no business with America's health insurance as it's a totally private sector! The tax cuts benefited everybody! My aunt was finally able to build her own house because she had more money at hand thanks to the tax cuts. Do you know how American social securities work? Why keep funding an Ebola prevention team when there's no Ebola?
Doomed US has the highest GDP, the best stock market ( before the coronavirus), 3.5% unemployment rate. Contrast that to Nigeria, France, Germany, the UK, China.

Ebola is gone as a result of critical thinking and methodologies put in place to tackle it by the help of the then Governor Fashola , massive cooperation from the Federal govt, the volunteers from different organization and the general public .
[s]You sound just like the stupid eastern Governors that will tell their citizens to pray and do nothing after the onslaught from Hausa /Fulani headsmen. If they had not sat down to think of how to act and protect their region by combing their forest and getting rid of the headmen, then there would have been series of raping , maiming and killings everyday day just like we are having in the south south and Middle belt becos of lack of action. [/s]
Think, and act to solve a problem before you that is the way to go and not your lazy way out of praying and waiting for Angel Gabriel to come down from heaven to help you when you have brain to think.

The critical thinking and methodologies, where do they come from?
Those who are doing the critical thinking and methodologies are they irreligious (do not pray)?
If they religious/prayer PROVE IT that it wasn't prayer that gives them inspiration.
If the critical thinking and methodologies works for Lagos -Nigeria, why is it yet to work for other countries?

Of course she would benefit from Trump's tax cuts. Anyone that earns less than $60,000 per annum cannot benefit from tax cuts. That's 70% of Americans.
