The loquacious members of a faceless forum,
Elevated above the status of visitors and guest,
And rightful claimants of our online nation
Nairaland, A microcosm within a macrocosm
A land of heterogeneous people,
With traits depicting us as either good, bad or ugly,
Which attests eloquently to our different personalities
And helps us know the uniqueness of our diverse unseen selves

We are Nairalanders
And Nairaland is our social gathering and meeting points
We come all in for reasons that differs,
And most times get more than we've bargained
We are made up of the active and the passive ones,
But never does the land experience momentary passivity
It is a land of witty humorists and comedic entertainers
But it also never fails to dissatisfy and brew toxicity
Her popular sections are known for never disappointing dramatis personae

We are Nairalanders
But whence come the sectionalism and disunity amongst us?
Who are the almajiris?
Do you know?
Who are the yeebos or osus or who are the yaribanzas and afonjas?
Tell me where the Yeast is?
Or the erosion ridden mud enclave land of the rising sun
Tell me of the brown roof republic in the waste land
And never fail to tell me of the poverty capital of the world

We are Nairalanders
Our acts are stored for a memorial in space
As in every land, the rain falls and the sun shines,
The day also breaks and the night comes,
But these lands shall remain
Many wantonness and foolishness shall be revealed
The successors shall learn the ways of their predecessors
Perpetual acrimony shall have an unending reign,
And the plague of hatred shall devour forever

A haven for all irrespective of class and status
A land for the noble and ignoble
A land that subconsciously shapens and influences the mind
A land that takes discerning to be a part of and discouragement to take a leave of
A peculiar land that reveals distinct people and
