The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has dismissed the report of an emergency meeting of the party’s National Executive Committee.

The statement jointly signed by three APC chieftains Babatunde Ogala (National Legal Adviser), Lanre Issa-Onilu (National Publicity Secretary), and Waziri Bulama (National Secretary), said the invitation was credited to the party’s Deputy National Secretary, Victor Giadom.

According to a statement on Saturday, the party noted that the said meeting was scheduled to hold on March 17.

“The National Executive Committee shall meet every quarter and or at any time decided by the National Chairman or at the request made in writing by at least two-thirds of the members of the National Executive Committee provided that not less than fourteen days’ notice is given for the meeting to be summoned.

“Without prejudice to Article 25(B)(i) of this Constitution, the National Working Committee may summon an emergency National Executive Committee meeting at any time, provided that at least seven days’ notice of the meeting shall be given to all those entitled to attend,” the statement said.

The APC chieftains stressed that neither the national chairman nor the resolution of two-thirds of members of the National Executive Committee has directed nor made any request to summon a such a meeting.

According to them, Giadom is not vested with any constitutional powers to convene any meeting of the National Executive Committee, neither has he been so directed by the national chairman.

“The National Working Committee, therefore, disassociates itself from the said illegal and unauthorised notice of meeting of the National Executive Committee.

“Members of the National Executive Committee and the totality of the members of our great party are, therefore, requested to ignore the said notice and/or invitation as a product of mischief that should not be given any probative value.

“The National Working Committee (NWC) shall continue to protect our Constitution and convene its meetings and the National Executive Committee meetings, in accordance with the provisions of the Party Constitution,” the statement added.

Obaseki has been spending Edo state funds on wild goose chase. He is throwing dollars to anybody in apc Secretariat that promises him to remove oshomole .even Giadom that cannot mobilise 10 votes for Apc in election has chopped the ugly baboon dollars.

Obaseki can bribe judges ,Aba kyari , apc Secretariat gateman, oshomole will be the one to inaugurate the NWC delegates and mode of primary in Edo state come June 2020.

He is so power-drunk and desperate for second term that he does not even have time to reflect on what he is doing.

Just imagine, when was the last time any of us, l mean we ordinary people, have to APPLY to the Governor of our state, before we can go to our family compound, in the state we were born and grew up or to our own Village house?

Obaseki has the guts, to tell the NATIONAL Chairman of his party, his predecessor and former TWO TIME Governor of Edo State, the same man who brought him from nothing and made him Governor in Edo State, that Osho-baba cannot enter Edo State or come to his house in Edo State, unless he takes PERMISSION from him, as the Governor of Edo State?

What kind of madness is that?
Imagine if Buhari says No One of us can enter Nigeria unless we directly take permission from him? No be crase be that?

Oshiomole may have his own negative side but even at that, this Obaseki should not even attempt to play God, he is too small and a nobody to attempt that.
This rubbish that Obaseki is doing, is not only insulting or rubbishing Oshiomole but also insulting all Edo sons and daughters and all nigerians in general because if he can do it to Oshiomole and get away with it, he can as well do it to anybody else!

Aside the President, Oshiomoleis the #1 personality in the rulling party and one riff-raff says he has to take permission from him, before coming to Edo state?
Even the Nigerian Constitution guarranttees the right of ANY and ALL Nigerian Citizens, to live and work in any part of Nigeria, Edo State inclusive, without need to take permission from any gaddem Governor!

So, Obaseki has already breached the Nigerian Constitution by insisting Oshiomole needs permission to enter his home state, preventing him from doing so by setting Thugs on his Convoy!

I am 100% certain that by the time the "system" is done dealing with Obaseki, his situation will be worse than that of any Governor in the past.
Obaseki needs to defect to another party right now because as far as the APC is concerned, irrespective of what those Governors who are pushing him think they can do,
Obaseki will never get that second term ticket he is so desperate for, on the platform of APCheat, he has murderd sleep and he should not even try to blink. Time is fast running out on him.
