"Muhammadu Sanusi II (Sanusi Lamido Sanusi; born 31 July 1961) was the 14th Emir of Kano from the Fulani Sullubawa clan. He ascended the throne in 2014, following the death of his granduncle Ado Bayero. On 9 March 2020, he was deposed by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje." This is what is showing on Wikipedia about Muhammadu Sanusi II. Just today that the Ganduje-Led Kano State Executive Council unanimously dethroned Sanusi, WIKIPEDIA has updated it sharparly. What I am still trying to understand is how all this relates to GEJ; and whatever dumb sort of karma is playing out here. I am even happy that he has been deposed — tired of the everyday back and forth between him and Ganduje. At least he can air his opinions without having to consider his office or any form of diplomacy. |
