Whatsapp has stopped working on Windows phones on January 2020. Please is there a way one can still configure the phone to make the whatsapp work in the microsoft windows phone(Lumia 650). Please anybody that has an idea should kindly assist.

I don't think so because Facebook has officially announced it loosing support for Windows phone and other older iOS and Android OS

Just sell or dash out the phone to one of your younger ones or friends. Or just use as your back up phone. You possibly can't use it as your daily driver. All work arounds in the past has been blocked by Whatsapp. So those old post on google will not work.

Solution:- Buy a newer device (iOS/android). And if you prefer android, get one but run away from Transsion phones
