Focus: The First can be the Last

WORD FOR TODAY
The fact that you are ahead in any facet of life does not mean you will always be ahead. Times and seasons change, therefore, be mindful of the words of the Lord; the first shall be the last and the last shall be the first!!!

A man has failed from the first principle if he thinks that he is who he is by the fact that he is worthy, smart, clever, hardworking or the most qualified. The fact that we cannot rule out the part you will play in becoming what God wants you to become does not change the fact that except the Lord builds a house, builders are building in vain (PS 127:1).

The summary of your life is that you are privileged. It was the mercy of God that brought you this far in the journey of destiny. If it is the Lord that brought you forth then you will always need Him as you proceed in destiny. Those men who eventually became a laughing stock and a shadow of what they used to be were men who failed at a point to acknowledge God who made them who they are.

Don't be too familiar with God to the point of taking Him for granted. King Saul spent years even after God had rejected Him as King. As you increase don't forget to keep acknowledging and honouring God with your life and everything you do!!!
