A policeman simply identified as Tolulope and attached to
the Akungba police division and his wife have been found
dead inside their living room.
A loud bang was heard from their apartment before their
corpses were found.
Witnesses said the policemen shot his wife dead before
killing himself over alleged infidelity.
The incident happened at Akungba-Akoko in Akoko South
West Local Government Area of Ondo State.
It was learnt that Tolutope committed the crime after he
returned from the work. Sources claimed the deceased policeman has been having trust issues with his wife over the manner at which she receives phone calls from men Ondo Police spokesman, ASP Tee-Leo Ikoro, said investigation has commenced to ascertain the actual cause of the deaths. ASP Ikoro said no one was present when the incident happened and as such it could be murder or suicide.
