The reigning European champions Liverpool crashes out of this season Champions League against Spanish team Atletico Madrid, halting their quest to reach a third consecutive final in the competition....



Liverpool who hosted Atletico Madrid in the round of 16 rerurn-leg fixture on Wednesday were on course to overturn the 1-0 deficit scoreline, but saw their hopes of qualifying to the next round been jeopardized in front of their home fans.
