The Miss Style Nigeria team yesterday welcomed contestants into camp for the official commencement of the Miss Style Nigeria Beauty Pageant.

Speaking at the ceremony, the President of Miss Style Nigeria, Princess Hilda Okon, commended the contestants for making efforts to be a part of this historic event.

She said that recognition, personal development, communication skills, confidence and handling the stress, pressure, and disappointments in life are the benefits each contestant will take with them from doing pageants.

Sash stylist and Grand Patron of Miss Style Nigeria, Engineer Ifiok Ufot, who also spoke at the event congratulated the girls and charged them to be of good conduct, noting that taking part in beauty pageants builds confidence, and teaches discipline.

Some of the contestants who spoke with our reporter expressed gratitude to the organizers for putting up such an amazing platform for their visions and dreams to come true.

Contestants are currently in camp, battle-ready, to compete for the star prize of a brand new official car, sewing machines, makeup kits, and other prizes.

Grand finale of the Miss Style Nigeria is scheduled for Sunday, March 15, 2020, at Nelson Mandela Hall of Watbridge Hotel Uyo.

The red carpet starts at six O'clock and the main event at 7 p.m.
