Juventus forward, Ronaldo has told his club that he will not return from Portugal to Italy because of his colleague, Daniele Rugani who has been tested positive to Coronavirus, as reported by UK Sun.



I believe Ronaldo is only trying to take precautionary measures in a bid to prevent the virus from spreading further to other colleagues.

Recall that Italy has announced that all Sports competition including Serie A has been suspended until April 3, this is to mitigate the spread of Coronavirus.

In about a few days ago, it was reported that Ronaldo’s mother was rushed to the hospital because she suffered a stroke. That is exactly why Ronaldo went to his home town in Madeira to pay a visit to his mother.

Now from what we learnt, the Portugal star has said that he will remain here until the virus is declared free in Italy.

Ronaldo and the rest of the squad were pictured celebrating alongside Rugani in the dressing room, following a 2-1 win over Inter Milan last weekend even though the league game was played behind closed doors.
