The publisher and Editor-in-chief Igbere TV, James Emeh Anyalekwachi has been abducted in a Gestapo style in Abuja by unknown gunmen.

The ugly incident took place at about 7pm on Thursday around the Kubwa area of Federal Capital Territory.

The victim’s younger brother confirmed the incident to ABN TV. All efforts to establish contact with the abductors proved abortive as at the time of filing this report. A judge of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, Justice Okon Abang had recently ordered the Police, EFCC, DSS and other security agencies to arrest Mr. Anyalekwachi over an unsavory report. Mr. Anyalekwachi is also the president Online Media Practitioners Association.
More details shortly.
