Everyone is guilty of comparing theirselves, successes or whatever to someone or other people's own. I think when you realise the damaging effect this act have on you then you will know it's time to stop.

Anyone who compares themselves to others shades any from of joy from coming into their life and this is because ,there would always be someone prettier, smarter, more successful, more liked, more industrious or whatever it is you seek. This doesn't mean you are failing but, because you are too engrossed in other people's activities you definitely would feel like a loser and the truth is whatever you tell yourself becomes your reality…therefore In no time you'd actually have nothing to be proud of, you would legit start failing and moving down and down the line. So STOP NOW YOU ARE AHEAD.
