According to Reno Omokri, a fast rising inflencer in Nigeria, he said:
Igbos only think they are being marginalised. If only they knew! God is using the marginalisation of Igbos for His purpose.
I met an Igbo mayor of a major American city. Many Igbo are mayors/MPs in Europe.
An Igbo is being considered as a future British PM.
An Igbo man is the current President of the ICC.
An Igbo woman is currently a Deputy Governor at the World Bank and had twice been considered for the Governor of W.B (but racism scuttled the mandate).
Although the Igbos encounter a lot in this country and are demeaned in every way, yet, like the Jews, the more you marginalise Igbos locally, the more they leave to thrive globally.
It is the destiny of the Igbo race to restore the fortunes of the Black Race worldwide hence their thriving anywhere they find themselves. Their crucifixion is meant to prepare them for their benediction.

Reno should stop all dis attempt at populism. He should tell us what he really wants instead of seeking cheap support by titillating emotions.

The Igbo are their own greatest enemy in Nigeria. They have refused since 1999 to unite round a common cause and have seemed to enjoy the role of spoiler recently in Nigerian politics. If they can come round and unify about a common purpose, they can become an unstoppable force. But as long as they remain spoilers with a chorus, they ain't getting anything in this dysfunctional union.

Igbos since 1999 have been United and resolute in their political pursuit

We pick a point and follow it to the later

We play spoilers ? Really ? By supporting obasanjo a Yoruba man ?
Yaradua a Fulani man
Jonathan an ijaw man
Atiku a north east man

Yet you u say igbos are not United .. yorubas are United yet u vote divided , u loset PDP chairman cos u could not pick one man ,

This type of people will not let igbo people have sense of belonging in the affairs of Nigeria they create more enemies to them. But for igbo to rebuke them they praise them. This set of these people are your real enemy.

Look an ordinary yoruba woman or man ,even a common ordinary hausa woman or man don't care about igbo.

Remind me how many senate presidents we had between 1999-2007 when the post was zoned to SE.
Kindly state the SE political agenda. SW have been advocating restructuring and true federalism. SS have been advocates for resource control. North are the advocates of the status quo. As large and important part of the tripod the SE is, Nnamdi Kanu came up with Biafra as a SE agenda in 2014 in a very shoddy, ill-tempered, disorganised manner. Before him and since then, there has been no political figure that has emerged as a leader of thought or a counter-force. You really can't expect to make headway in federal politics with such a disjointed agenda.

NB: Supporting others cannot be a political agenda. Power is taken not given. Rub my back I rub yours can't work in power games. Tinubu, Fayemi are both sides of same restructuring coin. Votes are not given on the altar of benevolence. If it were so, SE presidency in 2023 will be assured by now

Why is it that when people are no longer in power, they immediately become friends of the Igbo?

It doesn't have to be like that. The Igbo should start playing realistic politics and jump in the mainstream, otherwise, losers like FFK, Reno Omokri etc will continue to honor them with pathetic epistles like this.

Yorubas are for restructuring ? U guys became vice president and started singing a new song , tinubu stopped being vocal about it , osibanjo that took FG to court on restructuring is now asking what's restructuring

Igbos our political ideology us very simple
Address our marginalization by creating an extra state for south east ,

Restructuring the country to before the civil war system ...let's start from there

If that won't work give us referendum let's decide if we want to stay or leave

VP don't give orders. You have to learn to be patient and bid your time. It's a case of holding the handle of the sword before asking for vengeance on the murderer of one's parent.

Kindly mention one Igbo front line politician who has advocated state creation, parliamentary system and referendum. All these are words on the street. Besides, how can you have three disproportionate agendas. It's part of the disunity I'm talking about. Why don't you choose the one that serves your interest the most and stick with it till it gains national attention instead of going back and forth.

You mentioned three Yoruba politicians who have been advocates of restructuring. That's exactly what I'm talking about. You can see the north looking for oil. It's in response to how strong they know that agenda has gathered traction. Even El-Rufai was commissioned to look into it.

Under OBJ you got senate presidency. Out of the five unfortunate ones you had, four are still alive. Where are they today on the national scene?

Is restructuring a SE agenda now? If SE want restructuring as an agenda, all the better. It gives more traction to the unity of the south. But Nnamdi Kanu never advocated restructuring. It was raised as a counter-force to his petulance by some other politicians.

Ekweremadu is one of such politicians. He chaired the nass constitution amendment committee for three terms and he never made attempt to include elements of restructuring in his works even in 2014 after the constitutional conference. He became a latter day convert after he lost power and sought to have a voice so he joined the most popular chorus.

There's nothing wrong in having ten agendas. Just dat those three agendas are contradictory like I said. If you want state creation, then you can't ask for pre-civil war structure because there were no states then. Same with referendum. It supports none of the previous two.

Political reality of Nigeria means one part can't have it all. It's not about telling anybody what to do, it's about realising what can work, that is, deliverables.

Nobody is hiding anything bro. Restructuring is a well known Yoruba agenda which the north is bracing up for by searching for oil. Whether the SW gets power in 2023 or not, it won't stop the question of restructuring. OBJ a Yoruba tried quenching it and failed. Buhari has obviously failed too. So it's a child destined to be born sooner or later.

Yoruba are not against Nigeria's unity. Heck, they've paid their dues in ensuring that. What they don't want as even OBJ said recently is being second-class on the altar of unity.

Like I told you, as at 1999, OBJ was SW president, Atiku was North VP while five guys ended up being SE SP.
Today OBJ and Atiku are still relevant in Nigerian politics. Where are the SE four?

Ok sir. You can point where to read for me.

I hope you don't think i'm anti SE based on my stance. On the contrary, I'm pro SE (south for that matter). The SE/SW represent the most progressive and enlightened part of Nigeria and the true hope if this contraption is to make any headway. However, we all must realize that while the SW seems to have an elaborate political structure to fight its battles, the SE seem so disjointed and out of sorts where politics is concerned. Even Peter Obi who was the VP candidate in the last election has no solid base due to that idiot Obiano in his home state. That's where I honestly feel the SE needs to get itself right politically to be able to contribute positively to this nation.

A good example is that of Nnamdi Kanu and Sowore recently. Though they seem to have no clear agenda but the meeting of minds could bode well in the long run. While one seems to be a reactionary asking fore a secession, the other came with w revolutionary theme. However, both never espoused any clear ideology of where the demands will lead to. It will be beneficial if they can fashion out a very solid political message that will vibrate with the youths in the south. It will be a very sweet day to wake up to if that ever happens.

Peace

The one that makes me laugh at Nigerians is when they say igbos don’t know politics.

Yet Igbos are the most elected tribe in foreign countries. Their foreign elected numbers are greater than other Nigeria tribes combined.

Igbos are actually the best in politics and have proven it with the overwhelming numbers of politicans elected globally.

Nigerian political system is very anti igbo so it will be difficult for igbo to thrive in its political atmosphere. It was made that way because of igbophobia.

In any equal playing field environment based on merit, IGBOS always thrive. For a lot of Nigerians, it will be over their dead bodies to allow such a system to exist in Nigeria
