Many still believe in the saying that "the youths are the future leader of tomorrow". But it's so saddening that many of Nigerian youths lack vision, clear understanding, strength, courage and ability to make the change really happen in the future.

It's a shame many Nigerian youth's has sold their birthright for crime in order to survive in life. This group of youths has cause the world to drag the name and the image of the country through the mud. Many of our youths don't care about protecting the image and maintaining a good reputation for this great country.

All for the sake of survivor, crime rate is increasing so fast among the youths (from about 35% to 78%). And Internet fraud popularly known as 419 or Yahoo boys, which has been so rampart among the youths. Constitute approximately 68% of the crimes committed by the Nigerian Youths, and has made Nigeria to be ranked the 3rd most corrupt country in the whole world.

It's so clear and true that a lot of factors are contributing to these shameful acts and problems facing the youths. Some are as a result of the Governmental Bodies of this country, while some are as a result of inability of us (the youths) to think properly. We believe getting involved in criminal and immoral practices is the only way to survive in life.

Were are the gift and talent we have in us? Do we take time to discover who we really are, and God given talent in us? We are great people with talents and gift the world has never seen, we have the ability to turn the world around and change the worldview about us and this great country. Why can't we believe so much in our dreams and put them to reality through the available resources we find around us.

Are we so selfish enough to have forgot that these criminal practices have its marks on this nation? Are we helping the country or mounting to the existing problems in the nation? Are we encouraging our younger ones and the next generation or destroying their future? What story are you going to tell your kids as a Father or Mother, about your youth days? Don't forget that "what goes up must come down". Whatsoever you do today will come back to you and even your generations to come.

Are you a proud Nigerians? A proud citizen of a country doesn’t help in tarnishing the image of his/her own land. He always looks for ways to keep the name of his land/country at the top. So, do you have a vision to make a change to this country? Do you believe that the youth are the weapon of change? Do you think you have ideas that can make Nigerian youth's part way with criminal acts? Do you want to be a force of change to your country? Will you love to meet other positive Nigerians that are ready to fight youth crime in Nigeria? Will you love to be part of a Project to start an NGO (Non-governmental Organization) program? Created by the youths, for the youths to motivate the action of the Nigerian youths against criminal and unlawful acts.

If you have interest in this program, please send an email with your full name, age and address with "VOICE OUT FOR CHANGE" as the subject of the message. And I promise to get to you as soon as possible.

Two head is better than one, together we can build the nation, and together we can cause a positive change to the image of the nation.

Stand up strong and voice out, because we're the change the world has been waiting for.
