Strange news everywhere

It's not strange

It's trade by barter

It has always been there before we started using paper money

lol This is a brilliant policy and I'm laughing at the people on here that don't understand. If someone tells you to take 10,000 naira and someone else tells you to take a cow, take the cow. Next year the 10,000 will be worth 7000. A cow will 100% create another cow. 10,000 may or may not double and likely won't. A cow will always fetch money if sold and more money as time accumulates. One day, people will stop accepting your depreciating Naira.

People are laughing because they're ignorant. Angola knows why they accepted this payment and SOUTHERN NIGERIANS should start using their brains to understand why.

they don't claim it, Nigerians just keep calling them it out of ignorance. Outside of Nigeria there's no such a thing as 'hausa-fulani' and 'south-south'.

People should learn to pay attention during economic classes. What did you expect them to pay with , paper money or what.

Our C-in-C would love this kind of settlement,
if The Republics of Togo, Niger and Benin owing Nigeria a total of N29.97bn for the electricity supplied to them from January to September last year, offer this kind of payment, GMB would gladly accept it.

True talk.

But Angola was pretty decent in the area of cattle-rearing and animal husbandry during Portuguese colonization.

I guess they abandoned the whole thing completely right after decolonization and the discovery of petrodollars. That should explain why they are now short in that area.
