Nigerian talented songstress, Tiwa Savage has responded to the third coronavirus case in Nigeria that was found positive in Lagos today.

According to the Lagos state commissioner for health, another case of coronavirus was verified today.

The report disclosed that the patient is a 30-year-old woman who came back from the UK on the 13th of March and is currently in an isolation center receiving treatment at the General hospital on the mainland.

A worried Tiwa Savage took to her Instagram story to slam the federal government for not taking the necessary preventive measures to halt further outbreak of the disease.

She wrote:

“Why are we not closing out borders before it gets worse. I understand that we can’t stop citizens from returning but we can test and possibly isolate for 14 days instead of running the risk of letting it spread in the community”.

The best thing any sensible government should do is to close her borders but it is very unfortunate that this government is far from being sensible.
